Procurement Operational Excellence Manager
The Procurement Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for driving process efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement across procurement operations. This role ensures procurement strategies, systems, and tools are optimized to deliver operational excellence, cost savings, risk mitigation, and high service levels to internal stakeholders.
What will Your job look like:
- Analyze, design, and implement best-in-class procurement processes and workflows across direct and indirect categories.
- Lead procurement transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and KPIs.
- Drive the adoption and effective use of procurement technologies (e.g., ERP, e-sourcing, e-procurement, spend analytics).
- Serve as a key point of contact between procurement and IT for system improvements and implementation.
- Define and track procurement KPIs (e.g., savings, cycle times, compliance rates, supplier performance).
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools for continuous monitoring and visibility.
- Facilitate procurement reviews and performance improvement plans.
- Support supplier segmentation, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes.
- Collaborate with sourcing teams to ensure supplier governance and risk mitigation strategies are embedded in operations.
- Support procurement capability-building by designing training programs and guidelines for procurement professionals and stakeholders.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of new processes and tools.
- Act as a key liaison between procurement and internal business units, finance, legal, and IT.
- Ensure alignment between operational procurement goals and overall business strategy.
All you need is:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in leading process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies (certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of systems (NetSuite, BI, Jira etc…).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Fluent in both Hebrew and English.
